Words are incapable of expressing this album’s raw talent! My husband and I were present for the “at the movies” experience and cannot wait to witness you all live in June at The Gorge! I’ve been a Brandi fan for some time now, and I tell everyone we know they need a little Brandi and the brothers in their lives! This album is and will forever be a favorite. This is the BEST three-part harmony around.

This is such a phenomenal album- I am so in love with the way these songs have been enhanced- you can hear the magic of the Laurel Canyon influence throughout the album- with a river of Freddie Mercury and Bowie running right through it… the addition of Space Oddity leaves me breathless, every time. What a work of art. This album has a rawness to it that brings the heady days of free love and Folk Life festival to the forefront. A breath of fresh air from so much highly curated and edited glossy perfection. It’s like jumping into cold water after a long, hot, and dusty day.

The recording is stellar; however the pressing (on my copy anyway) is not great. It sounds so warm and stunningly beautiful until a jarring pop or several seconds of static (most notable on You and Me…) ruin the experience. I’m going to try to get a replacement and hope I have a lone dud. To be clear, the performance and recording are flawless.

Loved In the Canyon Haze better than in these silent days.

Brandi's voice only gets better and better. Her lyrics are tasty and enjoyable. My wife enjoyed the new album, so I played Bear Creek right away and she liked that disc too.
